This is the time of year when one can watch the gaspereau make their way up the fish ladders in Grand River Falls. It is quite the show and facinating to watch them not only go up the ladders, but also up the falls! They must be extremely tired when they finally get to the top!

when I lived on Frank MacDonald road I often went to the falls in the spring and was truly impressed by the vitality of those fish battling the falls over and over - great shots of the fish in the rushing waters - Steve p.s. will email you later
ReplyDeleteThis was the first time witnessing the gaspereau at the falls and it was quite exciting to watch I must admit!! Got the calendar marked for a front row seat next year!!
